THOVET Code of Ethics

Black and white emblem with winged horse and swords, labeled 'THOVET REFINERY'.

Our Mission

THOVET REFINERY exists to restore fairness, transparency in refining, and alignment to precious metals refining.

We believe that silver should never be extracted from people through opaque pricing, forced sales, or leveraged risk. Our mission is to provide a private silver refining model where clients retain ownership of their metal, understand every step of the process, and share directly in the value created.

We refine on behalf of our clients, not at their expense. Our compensation is a clearly defined portion of finished metal, ensuring our success is tied to precision, efficiency, and long-term trust rather than market manipulation or short-term margins.

THOVET REFINERY is committed to documented handling, ethical custody, and deliberate growth, aligning with the principles of ethical metal processing. We build capacity responsibly, operate without leverage, and design systems that protect both the metal and the people who entrust it to us.

Our goal is simple: refine silver with integrity, return value honestly, and create a refinery that serves as a standard for ethical metals processing.

Who Owns THOVET REFINERY?

THOVET REFINERY is owned and operated by The House of Vanderhoof Ecclesiastical Trust. The refinery was intentionally placed under a private trust structure to ensure long-term stewardship, ethical continuity, and protection from financial pressure. This structure allows THOVET REFINERY to operate independently of leverage, speculation, or outside control, aligning with its founding principles regardless of market conditions. The Trust does not exist to extract maximum profit; it exists to preserve values and enforce ethical conduct, ensuring that the refinery operates for the benefit of those who entrust it with their metal. Furthermore, all refining operations, policies, and customer agreements are governed by the Trust’s Code of Ethics, which emphasizes transparency in refining and upholds the standards of silver refining ethics. These principles are binding, internal, and non-negotiable. THOVET REFINERY is not built to be flipped, sold, or diluted; it is built to endure.

Ethical Governance Charter of The House of Vanderhoof Ecclesiastical Trust Governing Standard for THOVET REFINERY

THOVET REFINERY is owned and operated by The House of Vanderhoof Ecclesiastical Trust and voluntarily adheres to the Ethical Governance Charter of the Trust. Although the Charter does not specifically address refining methods or technical operations, it sets the ethical standard under which THOVET REFINERY conducts business, ensuring transparency in refining processes, engages clients, and upholds silver refining ethics while exercising stewardship over entrusted property.
